Bio
Jonna was originally committed to LIU for gymnastics but made the decision to not attend that university or continue gymnastics. Up until attending Daytona State, gymnastics was the only sport Jonna had competed in. It was a friend who convinced her to reach out to Coach Wilson and consider the possibility of attending DSC and running for the cross country team.

Why did you choose Daytona State: "I really wanted to be a part of a supportive and caring team which I found in DSC cross country. Also the school was really nice and had the perfect classes I needed."
Coach's Comments: The gymnast turned runner showed marked improvement during her freshman season, running 24 minutes in her first 5K, achieving a 22:04 5K by the end of the season. Wilson was pleasantly surprised with her aerobic capacity as she was usually in Daytona State’s top-5. The Falcons look to her to continue her development and to help push her teammates along the way.
