Bio
Throughout junior and high school, Sofia ran for pleasure but not competitively. After graduating, she attended Daytona State College and heard about the cross country team from a family friend who knew Coach Wilson. The two were introduced and Sofia officially joined the team. She had a great first year and is excited for another year with the team.

Coach's Comments: Sofia showed marked improvement through the 2022 season, running 27 minutes in her first 5K and 23:20 by the end of the season as the 5th runner on the team at nationals. She looks forward to running this fall with her twin, Fran Azzollini.
