Redshirt Freshman Matt Naylor Gets Division I Looks

Matt Naylor's role this season has drastically changed from his responsibilities with the Falcons a year ago. Last year, you would find Naylor manually operating the Falcon's scoreboard out in right field. After a year of training and participating with the Falcon ball club as a redshirt freshmen, Naylor is eager to step on the mound as a right handed pitcher for the Falcons.

Naylor is a 2012 graduate of Timber Creek High School. This Orlando, FL native joined the Falcons in 2012. He also played this past summer with the Florida Collegiate League. This time has proven to be quite fruitful for Naylor. After a year of skill and strength training, Naylor has not only proven himself to be an inaugural part of the Falcon's bullpen, but that he will likely move on to play baseball for one of the NCAA Division I programs seeking his talent.

Naylor's unique sidearm delivery at around 85 mph has made him a solid prospect for the next level of play.
