The Colorado Rockies selected Daytona State College sophomore, right-handed pitcher, Justin Lawrence as the 2nd selection of the 12th round (#347 overall).  Lawrence, a Jacksonville native, went 2-1 with 2 saves in 19 games including two starts for the Falcons this year.  Justin made an impact on the mound for the Falcons, helping to lead them to a 3rd place finish in the the Mid-Florida Conference and a berth in the FCSAA post-season play.  The Oklahoma State University commit will now have to make the difficult decision to sign with the Rockies or to continue his education and baseball career in Stillwater.
