Daytona State sophomore Sebastian Hernandez was named NJCAA Division 2 Runner of the Week for the first week of voting.  Hernandez placed third overall at the Border Clash cross country meet hosted by Valdosta State University.  He ran 23:39 for the four and a half mile distance, only 10 seconds behind the leader.  The race included NCAA Division 1 and 2 teams.
