Daytona State College is assisting the Second Harvest Food Bank with the collection of nonperishable food items to help those in need in our community. The Falcon Student-Athlete Council has partnered with other Daytona State College groups to maximize their collection efforts.

To assist with the collection of food for the Second Harvest Food Bank, Daytona State College will be collecting food donations next Friday and Saturday at the men's and women's home basketball games. Friday, November 22nd the Falcon Women's Basketball team takes on Faulkner State at 6pm. A table will be available to gather donations before and during the game. Saturday, November 23rd will be a second collection day. The Falcon Men's Basketball team plays Hillsborough Community College at 4pm.

Please come out and support our Falcon Men's and Women's Basketball teams next weekend. In addition to supporting the Falcons, please bring nonperishable food items to help those in Volusia County that are in need of food.
