Testi Earns FCSAA Region 8 Defensive Player of the Week Honors

Daytona Beach, FL- Emma Testi, the sophomore Middle Blocker from Poggibonsi, Italy, has been named the FCSAA Region 8 Defensive Player of the Week.

Over the course of eight sets, Emma Testi demonstrated her expertise in the middle blocker position, averaging an impressive 2.1 blocks and 1.0 digs per set. In a thrilling five-set victory against Eastern Florida State College, Testi was an unstoppable force at the net. She recorded an astounding 11 blocks and 2 digs against the very talented Titan team. In addition to her remarkable defensive game, Testi also displayed her offensive skills by contributing 9 kills to her stats. Emma Testi's performance in this match was a pivotal factor in her team's victory.

In another standout performance, Emma Testi led her team to a 3 set victory over Indian River State College. Testi once again made her presence known at the net, securing 6 blocks, as well as 6 digs.  Offensively she ended the night with an impressive 13 kills.

Testi's consistent and extraordinary contributions have made her a standout player in the FCSAA Region 8, and her recognition as Player of the Week is a testament to her commitment to excellence. Her ability to excel in both defensive and offensive aspects of the game has undoubtedly made her an invaluable asset to her team.
