Falcons defeat St. Petersburg 76-59

Daytona Beach, FL  – Solid shooting night by the Falcons on Thursday night versus St. Petersburg College led to a 76-59 victory at home snapping a three game losing streak shooting 43% from the field. Defense by the Falcons in the Second Quarter holding the Titans to just 8 points started the charge. 

Sophomore Center Kendal Moxey lead all scorers with 19 points, 8-for-14 field goal, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block.

Sophomore Guard Tasia Johnson finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists, and 6 steals. Sophomore Center Alicia Spann chipped in with 13 points, 3 rebounds, 1 block, and 1 steal. 

Kendal Moxey stated "Feels good to get a win at home, we stuck to our game plan and had great post play inside. One game at a time, prep for HCC starts now!"

Head Coach Tron Griffin recorded his 50th Career Win as a Head Coach with tonights victory.

The Falcons are on the road Saturday, January 27th at Hillsborough Community College at 2:00 p.m.
