St. Petersburg, FL. -- The Daytona State Falcons battled for 40 minutes on Sunday afternoon versus Palm Beach State College.

Sophomore Kacie Oelkers finished with 18 points on 6-for-16 shooting, 3-for-8 from three, four rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Three other Falcons scored in double-figures, Freshman Rylan Moffit 16 points on 8-for-12 shooting and seven rebounds. Sophomore Nashani Gilbert with 13 points and Freshman Shaniyah McCarthy with 11 points.  

Head Coach Tron Griffin stated, "We are still working on us, and taking it one step at a time towards our goal, I felt like our team fought until the final buzzer as we have to look at the film and make the necessary adjustments and prepare of our next opponent."

The Falcons are on the road Wednesday, November 16^th @ Hillsborough Community College at 5:30 p.m.
