Americus, GA. – Daytona State (4-2) off to a slow start, closed out the game vs. Albany Technical College 58-55 on day one of the South Georgia Tech College Thanksgiving Classic. A season game-high 17-point performance from sophomore Kimeira Burks. The Falcons guard was 7-for-17 from the floor with six rebounds, four assists, and two steals to lead the Falcons
Sophomore Guard Tanyia Gordon scored 16 points, 7-for-15 shooting 50% from the field while snagging eight rebounds, and three steals.
The Falcons are back for day two of the SGTC Thanksgiving Classic Saturday, November 27th as they take on the host team #15 South Georgia Tech Jets at 2:00 p.m.
