Falcons Defensive second half edges win over FSCJ

Daytona Beach, FL – Strong finish leads Falcons to score 45 of their points in the second half to take the 66-45 win over FSCJ Thursday night. The Falcons were led by Sophomore Guard Kimeira Burks with 13 points, shooting 5-for-11 from the field, 2-for-6 from the three-point line with three rebounds, three assists, and one steal.

Daytona State (14-6, 6-3) slow start and down 9 points after the first half of basketball, the Falcons came out hot in the second half finishing the game scoring 37 points off of the Blue Wave's 23 turnovers and outrebounding FSCJ by 11. Sophomore Guard Tanyia Gordon also chipped in 10 points, six rebounds, and five steals.

The Falcons are back in action Saturday, February 19th at 2:00 p.m. vs. #16 Eastern Florida State College on Sophomore Day, Pink Out Game, and Educators Day. Come out and support your Falcons
