Softball Splits with Pasco-Hernando State

New Port Richey, FL  – The Falcons split a double header with Pasco-Hernando State College on Tuesday, losing 6-5 and winning 10-0.

Taking a three-run lead into the seventh inning of game one, DSC surrendered four runs to take a walk-off loss.  Morgan Davis was sensational going 3-4 with two doubles and driving in three runs while scoring a run herself, contributing four of the five total runs from the Falcon offense.  Logan Ringel and Brianna Weimer had two hits each, with Ringel providing a triple and Weimer scoring three times.

Daytona State responded to the tough loss with a monster 10-0 win in game two.  Allizaya Talamantes notched the complete game shutout.  Morgan Davis again was tremendous in the batter's box going 4-5 with three doubles and driving in four runs.  Kadrianna Grinstead provided a 2-4 day with two runs scored including a triple.  Brianna Weimer also tripled, Gissel Morales and Cristina Penney doubled for DSC. 

The Falcons are at home on Tuesday, February 13th versus Pasco-Hernando State College at 4&6 p.m.
