DSC moved to 10-4 on the season with a sweep of South Florida State College on Tuesday, 10-4 and 16-3.
Game One
Madison Mitzel improved to 6-0 on the season in four innings of work. Emma Ream was excellent in three innings of relief, scattering three hits. Amayia Hernandez led the way for the Falcons going 4-4 with three RBI's. Brianna Weimer had two hits on the game, including a solo homerun. Mattie Linhart and Kadrianna Grinstead both had two hits as well, with Linhart hitting a double off the top of the fence.
Game Two
Mariah Rivera picked up her fourth win of the season in the start, with Ream and Shelby Harden finishing off the game in relief. Offensively, Adriana Onessimo and Mattie Linhart each had three hits, driving in five runs between the two. Cristina Penney also added two hits and a pair of RBI's as well.
Daytona State will be back at home against St. Petersburg College in on Thursday.
