The Daytona State Men's Cross Country team announces the 2024 competition schedule.  Coming off their fifth Region 8 title in six years, and a third place finish at the NJCAA National Division II Cross Country Championships, the Falcons are priming up for what could be their best season yet.  The Falcons will take to the beach on August 23rd to participate in an exhibition against other state junior colleges from the state of Florida.  The Falcons will make stops at University of Central Florida, Lakeland, Huntsville AL, and Tallahassee before setting their sights on a repeat Region 8 championship.  The 2024 NJCAA National Championship takes place in Richmond, VA on November 9th at Pole Green Park.  The Falcons made the trip to Richmond in 2021 and finished runner up at the national meet.  "Our goal each year is to find races where we can learn and develop throughout the season, so that by end of October, we are ready to perform at our highest level." commented Coach Judy Wilson, now in her seventh year at Daytona State.
