Men's Cross Country heads to Tallahassee Friday for the Florida State Invitational. The men's 8000 m race starts at 7:40 AM. With the women's 5000 meter race following at 8:15am. Over 40 teams will line up on the starting line at Apalachee Regional Park, site of the 2023 Region 8 Championships. The Falcons finished 11th out of 32 teams in 2022, and the 2023 squad looks even stronger this season. "There will be some big NCAA D1 schools in the field so it will be important for our guys to race smart and stay composed," commented head coach Judy Wilson.  

 

The Falcons have had a tight pack in their first two outings, with at least seven runners finishing within a minute of each other. The top five Falcons finished within 45 seconds of each other at the Southern Showcase two weeks ago and they hope to repeat that again this weekend.
