Bio

The son of Zakkery Hamilton and Leesa Nottage, Hamilton graduated from Lake Mary High School with honors.  A former basketball player, Hamilton was a dual sport athlete, but shined his senior year on the track, qualifying for the regional meet, running his fastest time in the 3200 meters.

Why did you choose Daytona State: "The location is great, very close to home. But it was mainly Coach Wilson. She connected with me like my high school coaches and that's what I needed to not get burned out." 

Coach's Comments:  "Brendan has that ability to lock into a pace and just keep going.  He is relatively new to running so he has a lot of room for growth.  His conscientious nature will serve him well in juggling the demands of school and running."
