Bio

A 2020 graduate of Tohopekaliga High School, Lebron ended the 2020 season with the fastest freshman time for 8000 meters in program history.  Placing 5th at the Region 8 championships, Lebron ran 27:05 and earned All Region honors.   He placed 4th for the team at the NJCAA Division II Cross Country Championships and helped the Falcons to a fourth place team finish.

2021 Season in Review:   Sidelined with injuries, the 2021 season was challenging for Lebron.  After overcoming an ankle sprain, knee sprain, and a fall that bruised a rib, Lebron managed to work his way back into the top seven and compete with his team at the NJCAA Division II nationals, helping the team place 2nd, only 20 points out of first.

2022 Season Outlook:   Lebron will be competing in his third season for DSC, after the 2020 covid season did not count toward eligibillity.  He will be counted on for his experience, tenacious attitude, and team spirit.  Wilson sees him as someone who really shines in the later half of the season and the Falcons will be looking for that.

Coach Wilson Comments:  "Richie is a runner who goes out and competes.  He has the ability to focus on his goals, even when they might seem a bit out of reach.  We have been very fortunate to have him in our program.  He was pivotal to our success in so many ways during the pandemic season of 2020.
