The Daytona State College men's soccer team was dealt their first loss of the season at the hands of Millenia Atlantic University from Miami, Florida.

Meeting for the first time this season, the Falcons were unable to secure the win at home for Homecoming despite the Falcons outshooting the Macaws 17 to 12. The Macaws opened the scoring with 4 minutes remaining in the first half.

Finding themselves down at halftime, the Falcons would concede a second goal in the 58^th minute of the match. Josue Youta was able to bring some life back into the Falcons after Celvin Atubra set him up for a first-time finish. Ultimately, the Falcons would lose the contest 1-2.

Next for the Falcons is a home match versus the USC-Lancaster Lancers this Sunday at 11am.
