Two Wins on the Road for the #8 Falcons

The #8 ranked Daytona State Falcons go 2-0 on the road, scoring 9 goals and only giving up 1. The Falcons started off by facing opponent, Millennea Atlantic University, away in Miami, FL.

The scoring opened in the 6th minute of the game when midfielder Carlos Zambrano found Damian Rogers with only the keeper to beat. Freshmen, Christian Rodriguez, extended the scoring in the first half after a diving header set up by Yuta Tokuhisa.

Millennia Atlantic University got one back during the second half, but the Falcons were able to find the net one last time as Didier Jean Baptiste got his first goal as a Falcon.

Having a quick turnaround, the Falcons next stop was in Thomasville, Georgia versus Thomas University. With goals by freshmen defender, Cale Saunders and forward Didier Jean Baptiste, the Falcons went into the second half leading 2-0.

Picking up two assists, Damian Rogers, set up the Carlos Zambrano and Hector Moreno for the third and fourth goals of the day. Sophomore Sol Bercu closed the scoring for the Falcons with the last two goals of the game ending the match 6-0 for the Falcons.

The Falcons will hit the road again on September 15th where they will face the #9 ranked LSU-Eunice in Panama City, Florida at 2:30pm EST.
