The Daytona State College Men's Basketball team jumped up to #1 in the NJCAA Region 8 Coaches Poll and #4 in the NJCAA National Poll today. The Falcons went on the road to defeat #1 ranked Northwest Florida State on Tuesday and followed that with a win at the Florida JUCO Shootout versus Tallahassee Community College on Sunday. The Falcons are on a 10 game win streak with an impressive offensive fire power of 6 players averaging double digit points. Kylin Green currently leads the NJCAA in field goal pergentage at 76.6%. Daytona State is 3rd in the country in points per game, currently averaging 104.6 points per game. The men return home on Saturday, December 9th versus Albany Tech at 4pm in the Lemerand Athletic Center.
