The Daytona State College Men's team ranked #11 in the NJCAA won their 10th consecutive game 93-73 against perennial conference power Eastern Florida State College to clinch the Central Conference Championship. DSC won the season series 2-1. After suffering a 2 point loss to EFSC earlier in the year DSC won the next two games by 14 and 20 points.

The Daytona State College Men's basketball team defeated Eastern Florida State College 93-73 to extend their win streak to 10 games and improve their record to 25-3, 12-1 in Region 8's Central Conference. The win clinches the Conference Championship for DSC and an automatic bid to the Region 8 playoffs in March.
