Daytona State Men Win a Thriller in OT Against NW Florida 96-94

Daytona State Men's basketball team remained undefeated after overcoming a 7 point deficit with just 34 seconds to play in regulation. DSC would go on to win 96 - 94 in the overtime period and advance to 12-0, setting a record for best start in school history.

NWF led 82 - 75 with 34 seconds left when Kylin Green grabbed an offensive rebound, scored and was fouled. He converted the 3 point play to cut the deficit to 4. Kasean Pryor would make 2 free throws for NWF to put them up 6. Ky Stattmann hit a 3 pointer to cut the lead to 3 with 21 seconds to play. NWF turned it over on the inbounds and that set up the Jacob Crews' spectacular play on the DSC inbounds play. A turn around 3 pointer to tie the game with 11 seconds left in regulation.

Jacob Crews finished with 29 points 5 rebounds and 2 blocks. Josue Grullon-German contributed 22 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Ky Stattmann finished with 15 points on 4 of 5 shooting from 3 point range and 6 rebounds. Breylin Garcia added 11 points and 5 rebounds.
