Daytona State Athletics Hosts the 23-24 Freddie's
The Daytona State Athletics Department hosted it's 2nd Freddie's Athletic Banquet on Tuesday, April 30th in the L. Gale Lemerand Athletic Center. The Freddie's was a night to remember as Daytona State Student-Athletes dressed their best to celebrate the 2023-2024 year. There were many familiar faces in the LAC, including DSC President, Dr. LoBasso, Dr. Erik D'Aquino, other DSC faculty and staff, and our very own Voice of the Falcons, Jeff Ford was the host for the night. The night began with dinner provided by Carrabba's Italian Grill and words from Dr. LoBasso and Will Dunne, DSC Athletic Director.
At the start of the presentation, DSC Hall of Fame inductee Wakaba Kogure was recognized. Followed by 22 awards, three of them that were voted on by the student-athletes themselves. Below are the night's big winners.
