Bio

Alison began running at a very young age, 7 years old, with her father while he was training for PT in the military. Shortly after that, she discovered that she was good at and enjoyed running. Her first race was a triathalon where she finished first in her age group. She continued to compete throughout junior and high school competing in distances from the 400 meters to the 5K. Alison knew that she wanted to continue her running career post-high school but hadn't considered doing so at Daytona State until a friend brought up Coach Wilson and the DSC team. After meeting Coach Wilson and discussing her attending DSC, she decided to fully commit to continuing her education and career here at Daytona State.
