Falcon Volleyball Records 3.63 Team GPA

To say this year has been challenging would be an understatement.  The Lady Falcon volleyball student-athletes, like students all over the country left campus for spring break in March, not realizing that they would not return to campus to complete the 2020 academic year.

Classes transitioned from traditional face-to-face learning platforms to online and students were forced to assume new unchartered waters in academia.  Despite the many challenges that plagued students across the country, Lady Falcon Volleyball found ways to persevere.

Falcon Volleyball recorded a 3.68 team accumulated GPA in the fall, which was unprecedented for the program.  This strong academic foundation led to success during the adverse COVID-19 academic transition.   Lady Falcon Volleyball recorded a 3.6 GPA for the spring semester.

This remarkable team GPA included 5 players with 4.0 GPAs, 9 total players with a 3.5 or higher GPA, and 11 out of 13 student-athletes with a 3.0 or higher GPA.

"This group of young ladies is quite special.  They are extremely committed to success in volleyball, in the classroom, and in life in general.  Their success driven mindset allowed us to have an excellent fall both on and off the court and a great spring," commented Coach Stegall.

The 2019-2020 team GPA for Lady Falcon Volleyball was an impressive 3.63, the highest in program history.
