HENRIQUES RECORDS ANOTHER TOP-10 FINISH AT SPRING BREAK SHOOTOUT

March 16, 2021 – Sophomore Symone Henriques continued her solid play at the Spring Break Shootout hosted by Western Kentucky by posting an 8th place finish with scores of 75-73-68 (216) in the 86-player field.    This was Henriques fourth top-10 finish in four events this semester.  Other top performers for the Falcons included Casey Sommer who posted scores of 77-68-77 (222) and Manon Donche-Gay who recorded rounds of 74-72-76 (222). Both players finished in a tie for 26th.  Sommer had a personal best score of 68 in the 2nd round of the tournament.  Minori Nagano from Seminole State won the individual title with scores of 69-66-69 (204) by 4 strokes over Christin Eisenbeiss from UNF and Mary Joiner from Western Kentucky.

In the team competition, the Lady Falcons finished 7th out of 15 teams and posted scores of 302-289-296 (887).   The Falcons recorded their season best round of 289 in the 2nd round. University of North Florida won the team title by 6 shots with scores of 284-286-287 (857) over Seminole State College who shot 283-288-292 (863). 

The Falcons return to action April 5-6 at the 2021 Brickyard Collegiate hosted by Mercer University at Brickyard Golf Club in Macon, GA.
