Daytona Beach, FL (July 31, 2019)  Incoming freshman Symone Henriques (Johannesburg, South Africa) has been selected to represent South Africa in The Spirit International Amateur Golf Championship at Whispering Pines in Houston, Texas the week of November 4^th.   Two amateur women and two amateur men will represent each participating country.

The Spirit International is a 54-hole Four-Ball Stroke Play competition and consists of three concurrent competitions including the international team comprised of both men's and women's teams,  men's  four ball stroke play, and women's four ball stroke play.  The top three players will be awarded commemorative medals in gold, silver and bronze.  Countries represented include Argentina, Australia, Austria, Canada, Denmark, England, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Norway, Republic of Korea, Scotland, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States.
