Bio

In his seven seasons at IWCC, Greer led the Reivers to a 248-129 (.658) record and the Region XI Championship game four times. The team has also cracked into the Top 20 in the national polls, the Top 25 nationally in hits, runs, doubles, triples, homeruns, and hit by pitches offensively, and boasted a 3.83 Team GPA in 2021. That mark earned the Reivers the NFCA/Easton Softball Academic Team of the Year which the Reivers also won in 2018 with a 3.7 cumulative. 

While Coach Greer's Reivers excelled on the field and in the classroom as a team, the individual awards have accumulated as well. Camryn Milley, Jade Lee, Zoe Hicks, Lily Gregory, and Brook Melnychuk were named NJCAA All-Americans, Jael Wilde, Amayia Hernandez, Jade Lee, Zoe Hicks, and Brook Melnychuk were named NFCA All-Americans, and Brieanna Brock along with Jade Lee earned Fast Pitch News All-American status. In the classroom, the Reivers' have earned National Recognition 73 times on the NJCAA All-Academic list. 

At a Region level, the Reivers have earned 35 All-Region spots in seven seasons under Greer, including seven Region Player of the Year awards, Zoe Hicks & Lily Gregory (Offensive Player of the Year), Brieanna Brock, Ellie Ponce, & Brook Melnychuk (Pitcher of the Year), and Jade Lee & Jael Wilde (Defensive Player of the Year). 

Prior to Iowa Western, Coach Greer led McCook Community College to two straight NCCAC Championships, setting back-to-back school records in wins. In 2015, his McCook squad was ranked nationally for the first time in school history and advanced to the Region IX Championship Series. In three seasons with McCook, Greer led the programs' turnaround from also-ran to conference champion, compiling a 93-82 overall record. 

While at McCook, Greer and his squads earned numerous individual awards including: NCCAC Coach of the Year (2014 and 2015) Region IX Coach of the Year (2013 and 2014) Region IX Freshman of the Year Award Winner (2014) Region IX Co-Offensive Player of the Year Award Winner (2014) NJCAA Marucci Elite Hitter Award Winner (2014) 14 All-Conference Award Winners 8 First-Team All-Region Award Winners 3 Second-Team All-Region Award Winners 1 NFCA All-West Region Second-Team Award Winner 

In the classroom at McCook, Greer's teams were even more successful. Totaling 30 Academic All-Region Award winners, five NJCAA Academic All-American Award winners, 10 NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete Award winners, and finished in the Top 20 in the country in Team GPA every single season.
