Bio

The 2023-2024 season will mark the 24th year for Tim Touma as the head baseball coach for Daytona State College. Coach Touma spent 12 years as a D1 assistant coach making stops at the University of Florida and Oklahoma St. where he helped coach both teams to the college world series. 

Tim Touma played and coached in the Montreal Expos organization along with college jobs at New Mexico State and Bethune Cookman College before being named head coach of the Falcons.

In the Tim Touma era:

  • 13 time National Academic Team of the Year
  • 44 consecutive semesters of a 3.0 or higher team GPA
  • Won the first conference championship in school history (2003)
  • Won 4 conference championships (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007)
  • Back-to-back-to-back conference championships (2005, 2006, 2007)
  • 4 time Mid-Florida Conference coach of the year (2003, 2005, 2006, 2007)
  • 2003 team held #1 ranking in the state (2003)

Coach Touma is a graduate of Lake Worth High School, Palm Beach Community College and the University of Florida where he was an Academic All-SEC performer.
