The Lady Falcons have just five regular season games left on their schedule, before post season gets underway.  The Falcons currently hold the second place standing in the Mid-Florida Conference after their win last night against the Waves of Florida State College of Jacksonville.

Daytona State is 18-7 overall, with a 5-2 record in conference play.  With a .720 win percentage, the Falcons are having one of their best seasons under Coach Cochran’s direction.  The final two weeks of play will determine their fate in post season.  They will need to finish in first or second place in the Mid-Florida Conference to proceed to the FCSAA Regional Tournament.

Daytona State will celebrate their annual Pink Game, Saturday, February 7th to help raise awareness and funds for cancer.  Their mission is to bring hope to those battling the disease and to also show love for the family members and survivors of this terrible disease that takes over 7 million lives annually, and afflicts more than 12 million people each year.  Cancer remains the leading cause of death in the world, and the Lady Falcons hope to bring further awareness to a disease that impacts so many either directly or indirectly.
