Daytona State's Impact on Sandra Hovels:
Daytona State College was an amazing experience for me. I loved Coach Booker and Stegall. They had a major impact on me as a player and person. I learned that I can do anything I want at Daytona State, I just need to put in the work. I learned that if I put in 100% every single time, I will improve everyday and be a great leader for my teammates. I also learned that it is about attitude and effort in life. How I approach every situation defines the outcome of it. I certainly won't forget what Stegall preached daily, "SUCCESS IS A CHOICE!" I may have come to DSC with a postive attitude, but the coaches and DSC brought it to the surface and strengthened it. I learned what I stand for and I am so thankful for this amazing opportunity and the wonderful memories that I made.
