A 2002 graduate of Lake Howell High School, Spinelli met up with Enslin in a road race and the two chatted about the team. At that 5k, Spinelli raced to a 20:02 win and Enslin convinced her to join the team. Spinelli ran in junior high, but took a break until age 27 when she started competing in half and full marathons. She will be working toward an Office Management certificate.
Outlook for 2019 per Wilson: We are excited to have Trina join us this season. I think she will be surprising a lot of people, including herself. She has speed, and that will help her get out in front in races and not get stuck trying to make her way through the field. This will be challenging and new, but I think she is just one of those people who welcomes a good challenge.
