Head Women's Soccer Coach, Brittany Jones, was recently asked to speak on a recruiting panel hosted by one of the leading clubs in Orlando, Florida Kraze Krush (FKK).  The panel featured many junior college coaches from Region 8 including Daytona State College Men's Coach, Bart Sasnett.   

The intent of the panel was to educate prospective student -athletes on the opportunities available within and the benefits of a two-year college.   

"The key to a successful college career is education about the opportunities available to student-athletes on an academic, athletic and personal level.  Too often there is only one narrative shared concerning how to have a successful college career and the junior college experience is another pathway for players to explore. Many players on both the male and female sides of the sport have found success first at the two-year level and then the four-year level.  Over the course of our program's short four-year history we have had players join programs from all levels of the NCAA and NAIA.  I am grateful to Jimmy Angeles and Hue Menzies for the opportunity to share Daytona State College and the junior college experience with the FKK community. "
