Women's Soccer Ranked 7th in Nation, Take on #3 Ranked Eastern Florida Wednesday

Daytona Beach, FL (dscfalcons.com): The Daytona State women's soccer team moved ahead in the polls to number 7 in the country in both the NJCAA DI ranking and the United Soccer Coaches Polls, following the three wins over the last week.

"It's great to see our program achieve national ranking.  The team has put a great deal into this fall season and I am happy to see their work recognized by others.  I always encourage our group to celebrate the moment, but to not be satisfied.  The season is long and we need to simply get better one day at time," said Coach Brittany Jones.

The Falcons will be taking on conference rivals, Eastern Florida State College, Wednesday at 6:00pm in Melbourne, FL. Eastern also enters the game with 3 wins under their belt and ranked 3rd in the nation.
