Daytona Beach, FL (dscfalcons.com): Follwoing their loss in the Region 8 semi-final 1-2 against the Broward College Seahawks, Oct. 26th, six Falcons recieved All-Region accolades recognizing their performance on the field.

"It is always an honor to have players recognized as all conference performers. We have a very young team and to have so many first year players achieve success is a testament to their preparation as well as our team's support.  Individual awards are always achieved because of the greater work of the entire group.  I am proud of our entire team and look forward to seeing how we continue to develop over the next 18 months," said Coach Brittany Jones.

Earning Region 8 First Team nods are Freshmen Forward Michelle O'Driscoll (Cork, Ireland), Forward Tayla Duffy (Rushden, England), and Midfielder Tilda Andreasson (Gothenburg, Sweden). O'Driscoll finished out the season setting a program record with 35 points in a season, scoring 16 goals and assisting 3. Duffy was second in total points with 26, scoring 10 goals, assisting 6, and a team high of 4 game winning goals. Andreasson finished the season 3rd in total points, scoring 4 and assisting 7. Notching Region 8 Second Team awards are freshman Centerback Gabrielle "Bubbla" Gayle (St. Catherine, Jamaica), Freshman Centerback Lauren Woodcock (Sydney, Australia), and Sophomore Forward Sara Machado (Destin, Florida).
