Daytona Beach, FL (dscfalcons.com): Friday, May 11th marks the end of the second full year of the Women's Soccer program at Daytona State. The women's team will send off 18 sophomores to continue their education, 10 of which will be moving on to play at 4-year institutions. Over the last 2 years, these sophomores helped set the foundation of the program on and off the field, ranking as high as 4th in the nation during the 2017 Fall season and a 3.34 GPA.

"The ultimate goal of our program is to provide our players with an opportunity to improve as a person, student and athlete. I am happy for the players within our program that have decided to continue their playing careers.  The commitment they have shown to their own development and that of our program is outstanding.  I know they will go on to have success in the future well after they graduate with their bachelor's degree," said Coach Brittany Jones.
