DAYTONA BEACH, FL (dscfalcons.com)- After a sizable break from their inaugural Fall season, the Daytona State Falcons' head coach Brittany Jones released the Spring schedule for the women's team today, January 25, 2017. The schedule includes both Division I and Division II opponents. The Falcons will be on the road for all of their Spring dates as Daytona State continues construction on the highly anticipated state of the art soccer facility, set to be completed in time for the Fall season of 2017. 

The Falcons will open their Spring schedule in Deland, FL where they'll see both University of Tampa and Stetson University on Saturday, February 25^th on Stetson's game field. The games will be shortened to 60 minutes to enable the team to play the two matches.

After spring break, DSC will travel up for a one-off game on March 25^th against Div. II Valdosta State University in Valdosta, GA at 1:00 PM. The Falcons will then go across the street to Embry-Riddle on April 1^st for another round-robin with the local U18 PDA club team as well as Embry-Riddle. The games will take place at Eagles' stadium field. In their last meeting during their preseason scrimmage, the Eagles took away a 1-0 victory scoring a penalty kick that was awarded in the 2^nd half.

The final match of the 2017 Spring season will take place in Melbourne, FL against Florida Institute of Technology (FIT). The Panthers just came off of a strong 2016 Fall showing, falling to Barry in the Sunshine State Conference tournament.
