Daytona State College Women's Soccer is proud to welcome #24 Cheyenne Beck to the program.  The Panama City, Florida native will join the Falcons for their inaugural season after graduating from Rutherford High School in 2015.

"I am excited to have the opportunity to work with Cheyenne this coming fall.  Cheyenne has shown a great deal of determination and perseverance to make her dream of playing college soccer a reality.  I consider myself and our program very fortunate to have someone with her integrity and desire commit to joining our cause" said Head Coach, Brittany Jones. 

Beck was a standout student at Rutherford High School where she received academic as well as athletic honors.  Over the course of her 4 year career Beck was on the Honor Roll all four years while also competing in volleyball, soccer and track.  She also served as team captain for both volleyball and soccer.  She was voted All County for Volleyball three times and was a regional selection for track for two years.  A standout athlete she excelled the most at soccer where she was a First Team All County Selection and Team MVP for four consecutive years.  Further, Cheyenne now holds the record at Rutherford High School for the total number of goals scored over her four year career. 

When asked why she decided to join Daytona State College Cheyenne stated, "I felt that this program and Coach Brittany were the best fit for me.  I love the competitiveness of the game and am excited to play at the next level for a team that wants to compete for a championship." 

Coach Jones offered one final thought on Cheyenne.  "When I speak to my teams there are only two things I ever ask from them and that is to give their best effort and bring their best attitude. Cheyenne is the embodiment of that statement as she has had to overcome a number of obstacles in order to join our program.  I am very excited to have the chance to help her grow as both a person and player over the next two years."
