Canadian Amateur standout Grace St-Germain signs NLI with Daytona State College

High school senior, Grace St-Germain has signed a National Letter of Intent (NLI) to attend and play golf at Daytona State College starting in the fall of 2016. St-Germain is from Ontario,

Canada and currently attends John McCrae Secondary School in Ontario, Canada. St-Germain is a very experienced player and has traveled all over the world playing in many top amateur events.

St-Germain has had several top wins over the last couple of years and continues to accumulate accomplishments including her most recent wins at the 2015 CJGA Mizuno National Championship with scores of 70-70-69-71 and the 2015 CN Future Links Pacific Championship with scores of 73-71-74.

Other wins for St-Germain include the 2014 MJT PGA of Canada Ontario Junior Championship where she set a scoring record with scores of 64-74, the 2014 Quebec Women's Amateur where she was the youngest winner ever with scores of 76-70-72, the 2014 Canadian National Junior Girls Championship with scores of 70-70-71-71, the 2013 and 2014 Ontario Junior Girls Match Play Championship and she is a bronze medalist in the 2014 World Junior Championship.

When asked about the signing of St-Germain, Coach Laura Brown stated, "I am very excited about Grace joining our program this fall. I think she will be a great addition and I look for her to make an immediate impact. She has a significant amount of tournament experience and I anticipate playing at the collegiate level will be a pretty easy transition for her. Grace is a very talented young lady and her love for the game is quite evident. I look forward to watching her play over the next 2 years and am excited to be a part of her collegiate career."
