Falcons Complete Comeback with Defense

TALLAHASSEE, FL – Daytona State Falcons Women's Basketball started a two game road swing on Tuesday night with a comeback win at Tallahassee CC 80-67. The Falcons down five at halftime outscored the Eagles 31-9 in the third quarter boasted by defense. The Falcons forced 14 second half turnovers and 26 total for the Eagles in tonights win.

Sophomore Center Kendal Moxey finished with 22 points in 22 minutes, 8 rebounds, 9-for-13 field goal, 4-for-5 free throws, 1 steal, and 1 Block.

Sophomore Guard Bella Weary added 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assist, and 5 steals. Freshman Guards Zoe Tennell and Eva Bradshaw chipped in 11 points each, while Sophomore Guard Tasia Johnson finished with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.

"Slow start for us, but we had great recovery and adjustments at half-time. We picked up our defense and it had an impact on the momentum of our offense." Bella Weary stated. 

The Falcons are on the road Tuesday Nov. 28th at Florida State College at Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m.
