The Daytona State Women's Basketball Team will take on Tallahassee Community College (TCC) in the last State Tournament Quarterfinals game on March 8 at 8pm. Following a 7-2 Mid-Florida Conference season, the Falcons claimed the conference title and the Mid-Florida Conference #1 seed for the state tournament. Tallahassee finished the regular season 4-0 to force a one game playoff against Northwest Florida State College. TCC completed the regular season with a record of 23-5. The FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII State Tournament is hosted by the College of Central Florida at their campus in Ocala, FL.

FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII All State Team

Destiny Arvinger has been selected to the FCSAA/NJCAA Region VIII All State team for her performance during the 2017-18 season. The Mid-Florida Conference Player of the Year led the Daytona State Women's Basketball team in nearly all offensive statistical catergories, as well as ranked highly in state and national statistics. The sophomore from Orange Park, FL was a unanimous pick for Player of the Year, after leading the conference scoring (16.7PPG), 3-point field goals made (79) and free throw percentage (82.9). Arvinger reached double figures in 27 of the Falcons' 29 games. She scored over 20 points in seven contests this season.
