The Falcon men's cross country team opened their 2023 season with the annual Run the Beach Relay.  The Falcons took the first five spots in the pairs relay event.  Teams of two ran a total of 6 miles.  The Falcons first pair, comprised of freshman Isaac Morrison and sophomore  Jared Falchook won the event with an average pace of 4:54 per mile, and a cumulative time of 29:26 for 6 miles.  Second was freshmen duo Evan Casterline and Pedro Zapata with a cumulative time of 29:29.  Third place was the Tohopekaliga alumni pair of Zeniel Lizardo and Julian Pomales with a cumulative time of 29:40.  Finishing in fourth for the Falcons was freshman Joel Jean and sophomore Jayven Garcia with a cumulative time of 30:43 and fifth was Brendan Hamilton and Jacob Bormet with a total time of 31:59. Next up for the Falcons is the University of North Florida Invitational on Sept 1st.
