Cross Country competed in Embry-Riddle meet this past weekend

Daytona Beach, - FL

 The Daytona State Men's and Women's Cross Country teams competed in the Embry Riddle Classic on Saturday, September 15th. The men finished in 11th place. Freshman Andrew Guillory was the first of the Falcons to cross the finish line with a time of 29:47 and sophomores Ari Guardiscione Wolf and Tyler Simmons were close behind him with times of 30:27 and 30:39 respectfully. Other finishers include Jesse Barral with a time of 30:52, David Philips with a time of 33:19, Bryan Rerko with a time of 34:29, and Preston Walsh with a time of 35:56.

 On the women's side, the Falcons finished in 9th. Place. Kris Gray, age 49, was the first to cross the finish line with a time of 21:55, finishing behind her daughter who runs for Embry Riddle. Close behind her were freshmen Janie Davidson, Moriya Patsch, and Kylie DeDeo who crossed the line with times of 23:06, 23:25, and 23:27. Other finishers include Jenny Enslin with a time of 24:04, Hannah Brown with a time of 27:37, Carol Adams at 27:48, and Baylee Mills with 29:41 who was ran while battling illness.
