Having only missed one game this year, Denis came to Daytona from Paris, France and had the tough task of having to replace outgoing All-American, Curtez Kellman. Denis on the honor, "It's a huge honor for me, but first, I want to thank God, my coaches, and my teammates who accompanied me and trusted me during this season. The Manchester, England native started in every game for the Falcons and tallied three assists on the year while also playing a major role in the 8 clean sheets recorded this season. Fikula on the award, “It’s honor to have been able to represent Daytona State this season and winning these awards is an amazing achievement for not only myself but also the whole team. From the players, to the coaching staff, and all the people involved at Daytona State, I couldn’t have done this without them as they all played huge roles in my success throughout this season.  These may be individual awards, but in order to win them you must be a part of a team so for this reason I would like to have this award recognized as a win for the whole men’s soccer team.”

Carlos on the Honor, “Well, first I wanted to thank all the sophomores and coaches who made my freshman year one of the best years of my life. Making the All-Tournament team is something I never thought I could have achieved because there are so many good players in this Daytona State team. For me, it was a cumulative effort of my defense keeping it tight and not letting attackers go through and finding me in the spaces for me to play forward. It’s a great feeling to have and it’s great to be a part of this amazing team.”
