Men's Soccer Falcons Moving On

The Men's Soccer 2022/23 season has officially come to an end and 6 Sophomores are moving on to play at 4-year colleges. This sophomore class will see three Falcons moving on to NCAA Division 1 programs, one to NCAA Division 2, one to NCAA Division 3 and one signing a professional contract.

When asked about his time at Daytona, out-going forward Christian Cordeiro stated "Becoming a member of the Men's Soccer Team at Daytona State has helped me continue my development to pursue my dream. Being a part of this team exposed me to some of the top recruits in the country for the last year. Being able to train and play in this competitive environment with my teammates and coaches has been a pleasure and a great learning experience."

In their two seasons as a Falcon, this sophomore class won back-to-back Region titles, Southeast District Titles, and made two appearances at the National Tournament. Combining for an overall record of 28-5-2.

Christian Cordeiro - Professional contract in Schuttorf, Germany for Munich 1860 U-23's.

Jordan Redmond - University of Tampa

Coach Bart on the outgoing sophomores, "This group truly embodies the values of Daytona State. Winners not only on the field, but also in the classroom. One of the most impressive qualities of this group was their ability to stay composed in high stress environments. Championships are not easy to come by, but this group made it look easy."
