The Falcons faced their first of two Georgia opponents, Andrew College, on Saturday under the lights. The Falcons defeated the Fighting Tigers 5-0, with all 5 goals coming from different Falcons.

The Falcons got on the board early in the first half with goal from Creggton Charlton, who took on multiple defenders and beat the keeper. This set the tone for the rest of the match. Shortly after, freshman Sergio Molina headed in a brilliant corner kick from Dakotah Casale. As time was running down in the first half, Dakotah Casale took a powerful shot from 25 yards out and put the Falcons at 3-0 going into halftime.

Coach Sasnett made a few changes to the lineup going into the second half and put fresh bodies in. Freshman John Nalus got on the board with an assist from Scott Benoit. With 10 minutes left in the match, freshman Alex Fuentes received a slotted ball from John Nalus and placed it right in the back of the net, ending the game at 5-0.

"I am very pleased with the way that we played," says head coach Bart Sasnett. "We had a game plan and executed it very well."

The Falcons faced their second Georgia opponent, Georgia Military College, for the second time this season. The first time the two teams met, it ended in a double overtime tie of 1-1. This time the Falcons walked off the field with a hard fought victory, beating the Bulldogs 4-3.

The Falcons got on the scoreboard 10 minutes into the match when Creggton Charlton received a direct pass from freshman and Daytona Beach local Franco Perez, and beat the keeper putting the ball into the back of the net. The Bulldogs answered right back with a goal 10 minutes after. Creggton Charlton took the match into his hands once again when he received another stunning pass from Franco Perez. This time Creggton beat 3 defenders before he got in front of the goal and beat the keeper, making the score now 2-1 going into halftime. Charlton is leading Region 8 in goals (6) and in points (15).

Going into the second half pumped up, the Falcons came out and scored within the first 8 minutes with a goal from Dakotah Casale. The Falcons held onto a 3-1 lead for a little while until the Bulldogs came back scoring on a corner kick and then receiving a penalty kick, making the score now 3-3. With 7 minutes remaining in the match, sophomores Shevon Stewart and Dakotah Casale took over the game. Stewart, doing what he does best, slipped his way through a few defenders and slotted a ball to Casale who blasted the ball past the keeper into the back of the net, making the score now 4-3 and ending the game. Dakotah Casale is 2nd in Region 8 with goals (4) and points (11). This was also Casale's second game winning goal for the program.

"It was a battle," says Sasnett. "Both teams fought until the final whistle. I am proud of the way our guys stepped up and kept their composure. This game is going to get us ready for Region 8 play against Broward College on Wednesday."
