Four Falcons Recognized With Post Season Awards

Daytona State College Men's Soccer players Miguel DeLeon, Ryan Sandidge, Creggton Charlton and Marko Tomic were honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association and United Soccer Coaches on Monday.

 

Miguel DeLeon, a native of Deltona, FL, was named to the NJCAA All-American Second-Team following a 14-3 season. De Leon was also honored by the United Soccer Coaches as a Second Team All-American as well as an All-South Region First Team selection. De Leon finished the season with 12 goals and 1 assist.

 

Ryan Sandidge, a native of Orlando, FL, was also selected by the United Soccer Coaches as an All-South Region First Team player. Sandidge was a captain for the Falcons as well as a two-year starter who played in every match. Sandidge finished with 7 goals and 3 assists. Both Creggton Charlton and Marko Tomic were selected onto the All-South Region Second Team. Charlton finished the season with 10 goals and 13 assists while Tomic finished with 4 goals and 6 assists.
