Eight Falcons Make All-Region 8 Team

Since the birth of the Daytona State College Men's Soccer program two years ago, Head Coach Bart Sasnett has had 15 players make the All-Region 8 team, with six of those players being named to the 1^st Team. He has also had one 1^st Team All-American, one Region 8 Co-Player of the Year, and one player to make the NJCAA National Tournament All-Tournament Team.

Coach Sasnett has complied an overall record of 31-6-1 with a Region 8 record of 12-3 in the past two seasons with the Falcons.

Sasnett also moved on seven sophomores from the 2016 class to 4-year Universities, where they are continuing their playing career and furthering their education. This year Sasnett plans to move all nine of his sophomores onto 4-year Universities.

"It is a goal of ours as a program to not just win games, but to guide these players to become better people and continue their education and playing careers at the University level", says Sasnett.
