#2 Daytona State Men’s Soccer Faces #4 Eastern Florida Wednesday Night

Daytona State College men's soccer team will travel to Melbourne for a clash of top four teams in the country.

The No. 2 Falcons will play the No. 4 Titans at the Titan Soccer Complex, Wednesday night, in a Region 8 matchup of the two top teams in the conference.

The Falcons started the season as the #5 team in the country and with a record of 3-0 and scoring 19 goals so far, they have moved to the #2 spot. Following behind them is the Titans with a record of 3-1 and 18 goals putting them in the #4 spot in the country.

The two teams met four times in the previous season, all of which were very intense games.

"Eastern Florida will be the toughest team we have faced thus far," says head coach Bart Sasnett. "They possess many of the same strengths we do as a team so it will be a great matchup for us."

Since the Broward game was rescheduled due to Hurricane Irma, this will be the opening of the Region 8 schedule for the Falcons. The game will be televised on WEFS-TV and streamed live at http://www.efsctitans.com/webcast
