2016 NJCAA Division I Men’s Soccer National Championship Tournament Preview

After coming out victorious in Region 8 play as well as the Southeast District Tournament, the 2016 Daytona State College Men's Soccer team continues to defy the odds of a first-year program and is preparing for the 2016 NJCAA Division I Men's Soccer National Championship in Tyler, TX.

 

The Falcons hope to make history in their inaugural season and have been waiting anxiously for their seeding and bracket placement.

The week long tournament is made up of four three team pools, with the winners of each pool advancing to play tournament semi-finals on Friday November 18th.

 

Pool A features the #1 seed and host school Tyler JC Apache Indians (TX), Western District champion #8 Trinidad State College Trojans (CO) and #12 Hill College Rebels (TX).

 

Our #7 Daytona State College Falcons (FL) will begin play in Pool B alongside #2 Monroe College Mustangs (NY) and #11 seed CSN Coyotes (NV).

 

Pool C is made up of the #3 Iowa Western CC Reivers (IA), #6 Ancilla College Chargers (IN) and #10 CCBC Essex Knights (MD).

 

Pool D consists of the #4 Parkland College Cobras (IL), #5 Cloud County CC Thunderbirds (KS) and #9 San Jacinto-South College Coyotes (TX).
